Today's ride was long because the only campground was about 100 klm away. Our only other option was the enticing named "Great Dismal Swamp Park" but it was too far off our route. The ride was rural on quiet, paved roads with few hills. The weather had warmed up and by afternoon we were in t-shirts. We began to see fields of cotton ready to harvest. We made it to Merchant Millport State Park in North Carolina about 5:30. Our distance was 110 klm. We hope to keep days shorter in the future. It's a nice park and the folks are invariably friendly and helpful.
